“Compassion is a requisite for a meaningful existence”
As a mentor at Dallington I support our mentees with a warm and compassionate approach. By building understanding and trust we create the space to identify goals and develop self-awareness. We work towards feeling clear about their values and potential, challenges and achievements. I do this by offering stable companionship and guiding them to find solutions and satisfaction. I believe in the importance of social connections to help us regulate emotions, build empathy and confidence and find inspiration.
With two decades of experience working in the education sector and extensive training and roles in the voluntary sector, my focus is on the importance of listening, remaining curious and making connections. These experiences, along with my continuous post graduate studies, strengthen my knowledge of the challenges faced by young adults. I collaboratively develop and deliver the Dallington Curriculum inspiring our mentees to develop skills and independence and work towards a balanced and fulfilled future.
Outside of work, family time and my passions for film and travel keep me curious and enthusiastic.
